Founded in 2012 by best friends and co-creators, Jaymie Medlyn and Anna Whiting, Shemana was born from a shared devotion to elevate human consciousness and rekindle connection to the natural world. Both women have poured their hearts and souls into Shemana, crafting it as a bridge between worlds: science and spirit, ritual and routine, nature and consciousness.
Anna Whiting is the guiding heart of Shemana—the anchor of operations. She brings over two decades of mastery in the Healing Arts, drawing from CranioSacral Therapy and KaHuna Bodywork to infuse every detail with intention and care. Her deep understanding of energy, anatomy, and flow informs both her leadership and her craft, ensuring that every creation carries the same integrity, balance, and reverence that define her practice. Devoted to Shemana as both vocation and calling, Anna tends to the rhythm of the brand with steady grace, overseeing each process with precision, heart, and quiet reverence.
Jaymie Medlyn is the visionary force behind Shemana, a modern mystic and formulator whose work bridges ancient philosophy with contemporary skincare science. She explores the meeting point between nature and consciousness, where botanicals, minerals, and the human spirit align. Drawing on decades of intuitive study in energetic medicine, sacred geometry, and plant alchemy, she translates these philosophies into luxurious, living formulations that honour both science and soul.
